August 2020: Our founder Euan has been shortlisted for the award of Charity Champion.

The Scottish Charity Awards 2020 finalists have been announced and we're delighted that Euan MacDonald has been named in the Charity Champion awards category.

Unhindered by the physical disabilities caused by his MND, Euan has done so much to help others both at Euan's Guide and here at the Euan MacDonald Centre. He has given hope to people with MND across the world after establishing an MND research centre and spearheading the launch of our MND-SMART clinical trial. For disabled people, Euan has helped provide freedom and reassurance when visiting new places after developing Euan’s Guide disabled access review website.

Run annually by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the Scottish Charity Awards celebrate the best of Scotland’s voluntary sector.

This year’s shortlist includes 45 individuals and organisations from charities and voluntary groups across the country. The winners will be announced as part of an online ceremong on Friday 25th September.

While a judging panel will determine the winners under eight distinct categories, members of the public can have their say by voting for their favourite overall entry in the People’s Choice Award sponsored by Charities Aid Foundation before 5pm on Friday 4 September 2020. Please take 10 seconds to vote for Euan in the People's Choice award here and share far and wide. Thank you!
