The quiz takes place on Friday 3rd November and will raise funds for the Euan MacDonald Centre.

Hosted by former Scotland International and British and Irish Lion, Scott Hastings. We offer tables for 10 people at BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh.

Tables include:

• refreshments including drinks reception and hot fork buffet
• quiz rounds of sporting trivia, general knowledge and interactive challenges
• Prize draw and auction with top, money can’t buy, items up for grabs
• A fun night with loads of laughs

All funds raised go to the Euan MacDonald Centre.

Event history

Former Scotland rugby international Scott Hastings is a patron of MND Scotland and long term supporter of the Euan MacDonald Centre.

Scott's charitable work led him to invite Joost van Der Westhuizen to Edinburgh in November 2013 and help forge collaboration between Joost’s J9 Foundation and the Euan MacDonald Centre. Joost was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2011 and sadly passed away early in 2017. 

Back in 2013, Scott persuaded the University of Edinburgh to join him in organising the event. With the support of the Scottish Rugby Union, Scott Wilson, Euan MacDonald, and the staff at the Euan MacDonald Centre and Euan's Guide, the event has grown year on year.
