Dr Phillipa Rewaj is clinical lead for the Speak:Unique Voicebank Research Project. This project aims to create personalised synthetic voices for those with communication impairments, for use in communication aids. Find out more at Speak:Unique, voicebank research.

Phillipa studied Linguistics at The University of Glasgow, before going on to train as a Speech and Language Therapist at Queen Margaret University. She completed her PhD looking at Language Impairment in MND at The University of Edinburgh, working with Professor Sharon Abrahams and Dr Thomas Bak. Previously she worked clinically in the NHS, and as part of the specialist communication aid service for Lothian, Keycomm.
