Rebecca is Deputy Director Science and Strategy at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic, University of Edinburgh. She is deeply attached to the Euan MacDonald Centre having been involved since its inception, and plays a role in many aspects of running and growing the Centre, including scientific strategy and reporting, student training, finance, communications and events.
Rebecca obtained a PhD in the genetics of schizophrenia from the University of Edinburgh and then undertook postdoctoral research into MND in Vancouver, Canada. She later worked as a freelance scientific writer and editor before moving into science management and research strategy.
